Between 22 & 25 March 2011, Bill Drummond visited the Holy Land as a reconnoitre visit. While there he gave three performance/lectures - one in Tel Aviv and two in Jerusalem. These included him leading performances by The17.

The promotion, execution and documentation of this score was Bill Drummond’s contribution to the four-man exhibition 60 Miles By Road or Rail that ran at the Fishmarket, Northampton between 20 February and 28 March 2009. This performance of SURROUND was twinned with a version of the same score that was performed in and around the Jiuxianqiao Market, Beijing, China on 14 August 2009. The Jiuxanqiao Market performance was part of the 10th Open International Performance Art Festival. These two performance are the only ones that are part of both the Coast-to-Coast and City-to-City tours.

Score 10: OBSERVE was performed in various cities and institutions around the globe on the five No Music Days that fell between 2005 – 2009. Not one person in the whole of Port-au-Prince observed No Music Day on any of these occasions but the whole city observed it completely and utterly on the 13 January of 2010. This was the day after their earthquake. It was also performed in Bill Drummond’s bedroom on 13 January 2011

Score 321: SHOW is being performed in Milton Keynes by Bill Drummond over a two year period, starting September 2010. It is being twinned with a performance of the same score performed by Tracey Moberly on one day in May 2012
The forty descriptions from Milton Keynes and the forty descriptions from Anchorage will be printed on a multiple of forty different beer mats. There will be a description from one city on one side of each mat and a description from the other city on the flip. The beer mats will be distributed in pubs and bars in both Milton Keynes and Jinja. There will also be a 41st beer mat that will briefly describe the process for drinkers in both cities. There maybe an exhibition in either of the cities documenting these performances, there also may not. As of now the art work for the first and the 41st of the mats can be viewed here.

Score 360: BEFORE ANY MEAL was composed at the Mittersill Composers Forum. It was then performed on a de-commissioned whaling boat named Vulcana in the harbour of Tromsø, Norway on 23 November 2010. Tromsø is the most northerly city in the world. This performance was part of INSOMNIA 2010.
This performance is also to be twinned with a performance of it on a Scottish trawler out of Anstruther, Fife on the North Sea sometime between 15 -17 February 2011.
BEFORE ANY MEAL will probably be performed at most of the other dates on The17’s Coast-to-Coast world tour.

Score 360 BEFORE ANY MEALBill Drummond was a composer in residence at the Mittersill Composers Forum 2010 between the 9 to 18 September. In that time he composed 10 new score, these are collectively known at the Schachernhof Scores. He also wrote a story about his time as a composer in residence. The scores and the story may be published as a small book.
These ten days as a composer in residence in the Austrian Alps, was twinned with him being a composer in residence in the Sheffield steel mill Forgemaster between 2 - 6 May 2011 as part of the Sensoria Festival.
